This Privacy Policy is here to show you how we use and disclose information about our users and applies to data that is collected on our website. Your use of this site constitutes your agreement to this Privacy Policy.

How We Collect and Use Personal Information

Our website may automatically collect data when you visit, through the use of cookies and other similar electronic tracking methods. These methods may collect such information as your host for Internet access; the web address of the site you visited from and went to afterwards; the date and time of your access; your IP address and operating system, browser and host, and the like. Naturally, we use the personal information we collect to invite you to our events, and notify you about our operations, and for related activities in support of our mission and operations. But additionally, subject to applicable law, we reserve the right to use or disclose your personal information to third parties in a good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to take action regarding suspected illegal activities, comply with legal process, or protect our rights.

Where We Store Our Data

We store our data with trusted third parties with names you may know, such as Eventbrite, MailChimp, Google Drive, WordPress and others. We are not responsible for the data security of these providers. We will keep or discard data at our discretion.

Applying to Appear During Creative Tech Week

When you submit information and photos to our application form, along with the above uses, the information we collect may also be published online and/or disclosed to our team of volunteers and other parties who help us review applicants. When uploading a form, please do not include sensitive information or photos that cannot be published. From time to time, we reach out to our experts with opportunities to show their work or get gigs, based on our knowledge of your skills. If you wish not to participate, please feel free to decline.

Providing Information About Other Experts

If you plan to provide information about other experts please make sure you are authorized to do so. By submitting any personal information about others, you warrant that you received such authorization.

Children 12 and Under

This website is not for children and we do not wish to receive personally identifiable information from children.
